About Our Chef Chef Lev Dagan is the culinary expert in the kitchen at Deeelish!, and is the person primarily responsible for developing our tantalizing monthly menus. Chef Lev has over 20 years of experience in the Bay Area food scene. Chef Lev is an instructor at the acclaimed California Culinary Academy, where he has taught since 1998 (he is also a graduate of the California Culinary Academy). In addition, Chef Lev has been instrumental in building and/or managing the kitchen in a number of Bay Area dining establishments, including the El Paseo Restaurant in Mill Valley, Skye's restaurant in Oakland, The Union Hotel in Benecia, and the Devil Mountain Brewery in Walnut Creek.
About the Owners Jami and Jeff Stevens are a perfect example of the customers that Deeelish! is designed to serve. Married with three small children, Jami and Jeff are long-time Bay Area residents who place a very high value on family interaction. Consumed by demanding schedules and the multi-tasking required to integrate business life with the activities and needs of their children, Jami and Jeff believe that family meal time is important and should be a consistent element in their lives, both in terms of socialization and the enjoyment of nutritious, great tasting food. Their sincere hope is that Deeelish! can help make this ideal a reality for more families, just as it has for them.
Community Involvement As a local company, Deeelish! places a high importance on community involvement, in particular issues associated with children and families. We are committed to helping schools in the bay area through our participation in the eScrip program. Additionally, we have joined forces with other organizations such as the Children's Health Council to assist in their fund raising efforts. As we expand our operations in the bay area we will be open to participating with other charities related to children and families.
